Installation & First Run

Evelant runs as a Chrome extension (Manifest V3) plus a companion web dashboard. Most people only need the first two steps below.

1. Install the extension — get Evelant from the Chrome Web Store and pin it to your toolbar.
2. Create an account — open the extension popup or the web dashboard and sign up — email/password or Google both work. You can also try Evelant as a guest first with no account (see Plans & Limits).
3. Sign in inside the extension — once logged in, the extension automatically authenticates using a long-lived token issued to your account. You don't need to copy anything manually for normal use.
4. Open Evelant on any page — click the floating orb, or use Alt + B, on any website to open the chat panel. It automatically reads the page you're on.
